Protecting our Kauri Trees

10 Jun 2020

At last! Thanks to the Department of Conservation, we have our own foot washing station. After some spade work by Jeff who delivered the equipment, it is now in place at the entrance to our patch of native bush.
The bush holds kauri trees which we wish to protect from the danger of kauri dieback entering the site. Here’s Thelma scrubbing her boots and trying out the cleaning power of the brushes. Thanks DoC and Jeff!
