The Kauri Museum Store terms and conditions
The Kauri Museum Board (referred to as “us”, “we” or “the Museum”) will only supply and sell goods to you on the following terms and conditions.
Product information
We have made every effort to display the products featured as accurately as possible. The equipment you use to view our website may impact on the display of our products. We do not guarantee that the colour, texture or detail of the product shown on your screen will accurately reflect the actual product.
Online purchases
All transactions are processed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). All products on our online store include Goods and Services Tax of 15%. When you order a product from our online store, we need to know your name, billing and shipping address, telephone number, email address and credit card information.
All goods purchased from and shipped overseas will be GST exclusive.
Your credit card information will be used only to process your transaction. So that we can track your order, we will retain your order information for our records. We accept Visa, American Express, Diners Club and MasterCard credit cards. The name that will appear on your statement will be “The Kauri Museum”.
Credit card security
Our secure server software uses industry-standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology. SSL encrypts, or encodes, your personal information – including credit card number, name, and address – so this information is unreadable should someone try to intercept it. With SSL technology, you enjoy more security when using your credit card for shopping at our online store than when using it in many physical retail stores.
Ordering processing
Your order will be processed as soon as practicable within standard business hours. No order will be processed until we have received confirmation of payment in full.
Delivery
Ownership of, and risk in, goods couriered/shipped will pass to you when the carrier picks up the parcel. Sorry, but The Kauri Museum is not responsible for damage to any goods during transit.
Customs and shipping costs
Read more about customs information and our conditions of delivery to New Zealand, Australia, and the rest of the world.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we limit our liability to you, howsoever arising, from the supply of (or failure to supply) any goods, or the quality or performance of the goods, to:
the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods;
the repair of the goods; or
the reasonable cost of replacing or repairing the goods.
