We Remember...

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, this year we are sadly unable to come together at the museum. Our thoughts are with you all and though we may be parted, lets take a moment together to remember those who gave so much to safeguard our freedom.

WHEN: Saturday, 25 April 2020.
WHERE: Your place.
TIME: 10am

ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) Day commemorates those who have served in all wars in which New Zealand was a participant. ANZAC Day is a solemn day of remembrance and a national holiday in New Zealand.
At The Kauri Museum, the local branch of the Royal New Zealand Returned and Services Association (RSA) lead a parade and service, followed by a cup of tea in the Matakohe War Memorial Hall.
The Kauri Museum ANZAC exhibition highlights stories of members of our local community, their role in war and the aftermath back at home. We invite you to join us as we remember.
